Location :

In a quiet, undisturbed area of "Las Cabezadas", near "El Time" in La Punta, Tijarafe, on the Canary Island of La Palma, there is "Casa Irene" (turismo rural). The old traditional house is exclusively renovated. The luxuriously equipped house with its big pool and terraces with open view to the west over the Atlantic Ocean do guarantee your relaxing and recreation. The very quiet surroundings with no roads or traffic invite for walks and trekking directly from the house. For example only 10 minutes walking, you get to the mountain ridge which gives a phantastic view into the National Park "Caldera de Taburiente", into the "Aridane valley" and to the south of the island; looking back from there to the west, you have the panoramic view over the Atlantic and in northern direction you see the coastline and western slopes with the village of Tijarafe.

House and Equipment :

Casa Irene is renovated with best materials, equipped at a very high standard with good taste. The kitchen/dining room is completely equipped with electric oven and all you need, a washing machine is also part of the house equipment. The living room has an open chimney, comfortable couches (also serve for sleeping additional guests), Sat-TV (Astra) and DVD-Player.

Prices :

59.- € for 2 persons + 6.- € for each additional person per day. Prices include everything, taxes, electricity, water, cleaning...

Activities :

The central west of the island not only has the best climate, but is also an ideal geographical center for leaving to excursions in all directions of the island. It is only a hop to the beach of Puerto de Tazacorte, to the pirate's bay "Candelaria" with Playa Jurado or to the preferred town Los Llanos. For real trekking, the path "El Time - Roque de Los Muchachos" is one of the most beautifull routes on La Palma. It passes very close to the house. Hanggliders and paragliders are very near (10 minutes walk) to the take-off point in the flying zone "El Time - Puerto de Tazacorte".
